Born 1980 in Vienna, Marvin Kren studied film direction at Hamburg Media School. He worked for several production companies as cameraman, director and actor. Since 2000 he produced his own short films. For "Schautag" (2009), his graduation film, he received the award for best short film at film festival Max-Ophüls-Preis in Saarbrücken.
