Biography
Konrad Kästner was born in Leipzig in 1984. After graduating from high school, he worked as an assistant in the theater and traveled to South Africa to work as an assistant director, cameraman and researcher. He then studied at the University of Film and Television “Konrad Wolf” in Potsdam-Babelsberg, graduating with the film “Our Booze” (2011).
His other films include: the shorts "Iphigenia In Orem" (2003), "Me Me Me" (2006), “The Last Unemployed Guy” (2007), “I Have You” (2007), “Geri’s 40th Wedding” (2008), episodes of “24h Berlin” (2009), and "Japaaan!” (2009).
