Das Lied der Wüste
The Desert Song
Swedish engineer Nic Brenten is in North Africa to build a copper mine to help the people. When he meets the singer Grace Collins, he falls in love with her. But Grace is the stepdaughter of his adversary, who wants to take over the mine for his own purposes and, after failed attempts at bribery, does not hesitate to use force against Brenten. When he is finally captured by an English patrol, all of Brenten's hopes for freedom rest on his beloved Grace.
