Born in Berlin in 1976. After taking final school examinations she travelled to the US and Mexico. She worked as an assistant in production design and film production and studied at the German Film and Television Academy Berlin (dffb). She joined forces with Döndu Kilic to make the short film "Love hurts", a "social commercial" that was screened during the Panorama section of the Berlinale in 2007.
