Andreas Pieper was born in 1977 in Bochum. He grew up in Duesseldorf, and lived in Toulouse and New York. He studied Directing at the University of Film and Television "Konrad Wolf " in Potsdam-Babelsberg. His films include: "Die Begegnung", "Die Frau vom vierten Foto unten rechts", "Hakenland" and his graduation film "Rheingold".
