Based on the 1949 novel by Erich Kästner: Led by circus lion Alois, the animals of the world decide to hold a global conference. Since the animals love the children of mankind, they kidnap the kids and set out to convince the humans to end their constant warmongering, which continues to devastate the earth. Enraged, the humans send their armies, but the animals outsmart them.
