Eduard and Charlotte have been a couple for a long time. As their relationship has already broken up once, they decide to spend more time together in the future. For this purpose they travel to an idyllic country house during the summer. But happiness does not last long. When Eduard meets his old friend Otto, he invites him to his house. Then, Charlotte's niece Ottilie unexpectedly turns up and it does not take long before tensions and new relationship constellations arise.
