Im Namen des Volkes

In this semi-documentary film, Ottokar Runze has inmates of a Hamburg prison investigate a murder case, for which three of their fellow inmates received life sentences. The dramatized search for truth becomes a form of group therapy, in which the different constructions of social roles and identities become visible.
