Heimweh nach St. Pauli
Hein Steinemann, who fled Hamburg to go to New York City after betting his family's money and losing it, had become a famous musician in New York known as Jimmy Jones. After finding out his colleague is going back to Hamburg on a ship, he feels home sick and decides to go with her disguised as a sailor, despite having prior engagements in Las Vegas as Jimmy Jones. He successfully makes it on board the ship, where he falls in love with Rosy, an innkeeper’s daughter from Hamburg. Unfortunately, his managers follow him to Hamburg and when he is reunited with his family, he has to confront them. Luckily, his mother helps him get rid of the managers and he is able to stay in Hamburg with his family and his newfound love.
