Biography
Martin Baer was born in 1963 in Saarbruecken. After studying Optics and Photographic Techniques, he started working as a camera operator, author and director. His films include: "Beyond Egypt" (short, 1989) and the documentaries "Rudolph Marcks and the Kreuzberger Salon-Orchester" (1990), "With the License to Kill" (1991), "Dance with the Dead" (1992), "Hisbollah" (1994), "Free Africa!" (1999), "A Headhunt" (2001), "Vamos a la playa" (2001), "White Ghosts – The Colonial War Against the Herero" (2004), and "Kinshasa Symphony" (2010).
