Christoph Hübner
Christoph Huebner was born in 1948 in Heidelberg, where he also studied Law. After moving to Munich to continue his Legal Studies, he enrolled in the Academy of Film and Television in 1971. In 1978 he moved to the Ruhr region and founded the RuhrFilmZentrum and Christoph Huebner Filmproduktion. He is active as a producer and director. A selection of his award-winning films (most made in cooperation with Gabriele Voss) includes: "The Life Story of Alfons S." (1979), "PROSPER/EBEL" (1998), "Vincent van Gogh - The road to Courriéres" (1989), "People in the Ruhr Valley" (1993), "Anna"s quest" (1994), "Wagner / Images" (2002), "The Champions" (2003), "The documentary approach" (1994-2005), and "Thomas Harlan - Moving Shrapnel" (2006).
