Jimi Blue Ochsenknecht
Jimi Blue Ochsenknecht, born December 27, 1991, in Munich, is the son of actor Uwe Ochsenknecht. He still went to Waldorf school when he made his movie debut alongside his father and his brother Wilson in Doris Dörrie"s "Erleuchtung garantiert" ("Enlightenment Guaranteed") in 1999. Four years later, the autodidact made his breakthrough as an actor and played the leader of a football gang in the enormously successful children"s film "Die wilden Kerle" ("The Wild Soccer Bunch"). Besides his parts in the equally successful sequels of the film Jimi Blue Ochsenknecht also starred in Sharon von Wietersheim"s TV drama "Auf den Spuren der Vergangenheit", a role that won the upcoming star and teen heartthrob a lot of praise by film critics.
In 2008, after the fifth movie about the "Wild Soccer Bunch", Jimi Blue Ochsenknecht plays the leading role in "Sommer" ("Summer") by Mike Marzuk, a drama about love and friendship. In the following year in Rainer Matsutani"s drama "Gangs", he is the leader of a street gang who falls in love with a girl of the high society.
