Malika travels to Morocco in search of the father of their daughter Charlotte. But the Foreign Legionnaire remains a phantom. Charlotte herself comes to the country years later as a tourist and films with her Super8 camera. Both travel around the same country, but at the same time different worlds. The journey leads to a confrontation between the two women, who were strangers to each other all their lives.
