The Wonderful Lie Of Nina Petrowna

Nina Petrowna, the mistress of a rich Cossack Colonel, meets a young officer, Michael, at a social event. She gives up her previous life and moves in with him. The Colonel asks her to return to him, otherwise he will destroy Michael′s career. In order to save her lover Nina agrees, but, on return to his apartment the Colonel finds only her dead body.
