Christoph Schrewe was born in Stuttgart on 19 August 1964 and followed training as an actor from 1983-85 with studies at Berlin"s dffb from 1984-87 and participation in the 4th Berlin Script Workshop in 1990. He worked as an assistant director in television and theatre from 1985-90 and has been directing since 1987, including "Spaeter Sommer" (TV, 1988), "Cactusland" (1989), "Boomtown" (1992), "Frankie" (TV series, 1995) and "Refuge" ("Unter die Haut", TV, 1996). Since then, he has been working exclusively for television.
