In his mourning and melancholy mood, an older man whose wife committed suicide meets a younger woman whose daughter has died in a car accident. From the first moment on, there seems to be a very special connection between them. In long conversations they tell each other about their worries and fears. Finally they plan to go on a journey together - but then the woman suddenly disappears, and the man is on his own again.
