Der Willi-Busch-Report
The Willi Busch Report
In the 1960s, Adelheid and Wilhelm Busch inherited the "Werra-Post", a small local newspaper, from their father. The paper used to be the source of information for the whole region, but since the erection of the border between East and West Germany, the formerly flourishing town Friedheim has hit a downhill slide. As a result, sales of the "Werra-Post" have been decreasing, too. In order to boost sales, Willi starts to beef up the news by sensationalizing everyday events. Yet he doesn't expect the far-reaching effects of his "features".
