Born in Landshut on 8.10.1969, he attended Ruth von Zerboni"s acting school, subsequently performing at theatres in Regensburg, Ingolstadt and Munich. He has worked as an assistant director and stage director; besides his many stage appearances he has also studied philosophy and drama. After numerous roles in television productions (such as the series "Küstenwache", "Samt und Seide" and "Der Bulle von Tölz"), "Muxmäuschenstill" marked his debut as a film director in 2003.
