The Heath Is Green

At the centre of this musical film are the three friends Norbert, Möps and Bernie, who want to spend a holiday together in the Lüneburger Heide, where Norbert inherited a house. Although the disappointment is great when the house turns out to be an empty stable, the three don't want to let their holiday mood be spoiled. However, the trio's intentions to spend their time in a very civilized way without alcohol, cigarettes and women quickly dissolve into smoke and mirrors. While Norbert falls in love with the pretty Ursula, who works in a nearby sanatorium, Möps hooks up with the village beauty Hanna, who actually had her eye on Norbert. Meanwhile, Bernie celebrates an amorous reunion with his girlfriend Anita, who has followed him from the city.
