Sylvana Krappatsch
Sylvana Krappatsch, born 1965 in Quedlinburg, attended actor’s training at Hochschule für Film und Fernsehen in Babelsberg/Potsdam. Since then, she has performed at theatres all over the country and was seen in productions by Frank Castorf, Falk Richter, and Werner Düggelin at Schauspielhaus Zürich and several other theatres. In 1996, the theatre magazine "Theater heute" named her "Young actress of the year”. Krappatsch who is a cast member of Munich’s Kammerspiele since 1996 made her movie debut in the short film "Transit" by Greek-born director Anita Makris. She then appeared in several other films, including Benjamin Heisenberg’s film "Am See" ("At the Lake", 2002) and "Die Besucherin" ("Days In Between", 2008), directed by Lola Randl. In the film, Krappatsch plays the title role alongside André Jung.
