Als ich tot war
Where is My Treasure?
Ernst, a passionate chess player, goes to the chess club despite the objections of his wife and mother-in-law. He returns home late one night, but because his mother-in-law has installed the safety chain, he has to sleep on the stairs. He undresses and covers himself with his clothes. When he wakes up in the morning, his clothes are gone. He rings the doorbell of his apartment and is let in. His wife tells him in writing that one of them has to leave the house, he packs his things and leaves happily, intending to make good use of his freedom. However, he leaves his wife a letter telling her that he will not be alive when she receives these lines. Her mother decides to find another husband for her daughter. After a short time, Ernst is tired of the life of pleasure, he wants to get close to his wife again. He learns through the newspaper that she is looking for a servant. Ernst disguises himself and gets the job, from now on he tries to make every suitor unpopular with the ladies, with success, as will be shown later.
