Joachim Haupt
Biography
Joachim Haupt studied Modern German Literature, Modern History and Sociology in Mainz, Geneva and Munich. In 1993, he had his directorial debut with a documentary on the underground techno scene in Berlin. Since 1996, he has been working together with Sabine Pollmeier.
Their films include: "Die Schoenheit der Transparenz" (1996), "Die Farben: Schwarz" (1997), "Eine Karriere in Hollywood" (1997), "Fette Beats und schnelle Reime" (1999), "HipHop de Luxe" (2001), "Peppers and Nudes - The Photographer Edward Weston" (2004), "Carl Djerassi - My Life" (2009), the series "Up to the Sky" (2009/2012/2016), "Great Ocean Road" (2016), and "Kunst im Paradies" ("Art in Paradise", 2018).
