Befreite Zone
Liberated Zone
The eyes of the nation, and those of its football fans, are fixed on Saesslen, a small town in eastern Germany. The local club has made it through to the League Cup final and now only a certain bunch of Bavarians stands between them and triumph. Yes, it’s the mid-1990s and good times are-a-comin’ to the former East Germany!
The town′s inhabitants are all very intimately intertwined, sharing triumphs and failures, ... and even the occasional partner.
