Gelbe Tage

An opera singer with bright blonde hair comes to a small Kurdish village. Her name is Hildegard and she wants to write her doctoral thesis on Kurdish folk dances and songs there. Pasha, a boy who is always up for a prank, befriends her. But the political situation in the region is tense: The war in Iraq is approaching and villagers are urging their beloved Hildegard to return to Germany before it escalates.
