Andrzej Klamt was born in Poland in 1964 and moved to the Federal Republic of Germany in 1979. He studied Slavonic Studies and Film in Frankfurt am Main and has worked as an independent writer and producer since 1990. His films include "Sibirien I" (TV, 1991), "Sibirien II" (TV, 1991), "D.S. Baldajew -Zeichner des Gulag" (co-dir with H.-P. Boeffgen, 1993) and "Sibirien III" (TV, 1994).
