Oskar Fischinger - Musik für die Augen
Long before the advent of computer animation, Oskar Fischinger combined abstract shapes, pulsating color patterns, and moving animation with music in short experimental films. In his documentary, Harald Pulch sheds light on the life and work of the "father of the video clip" and shows an exclusive 1993 interview with Elfriede Fischinger, the filmmaker's widow and colleague. She talks about the artistic life of the couple, who worked in Frankfurt, Munich, Berlin and finally Hollywood.
