Jadup und Boel
Jadup and Boel
ln the run-up to an anniversary: topping-out ceremony for a department store. Next to it, an old cottage collapses. A Marxist brochure from the early years of the GDR is unearthed from the rubble, with a dedication by the current mayor, Jadup, to a girl named Boel. This find brings back memories. At the time, Boel was stranded here as a refugee with her mother. Boel wanted to be beautiful for Jadup, wanted to be freed from the warts on her hands. Someone who is still around today took advantage of that. Boel was raped. When Jadup (like everyone) is only interested in the crime, the perpetrator and the political consequences, but not in Boel's fate, she disappears.
