Wo ist Anne Frank
The animated film is based on entries from the "Diary of Anne Frank". It tells the story of Kitty, an imaginary friend of the Jewish girl Anne Frank, with whom she conversed from 1942 in her diary that has become famous. The story of the film begins in present-day Amsterdam, where the freckled, red-haired Kitty comes to life and sets off on a search for traces of Anne Frank in a world that is foreign to her. Kitty is unaware that Anne was murdered in the Bergen-Belsen concentration camp at the time. When she meets Peter, who runs a secret shelter for refugees, she realizes the extent of problems and conflicts to which people are exposed. This experience and Anne Frank's fate inspire Kitty to convey a message of tolerance and empathy to future generations.
