Drama about the real-life Harvey Weinstein case that launched the MeToo movement: A rumor spreads through the New York Times newsroom that powerful movie producer Harvey Weinstein regularly sexually abuses actresses and other women in the industry. Investigative journalist Jodi Kantor is assigned to the case. It soon becomes clear that sexual assault is commonplace in Hollywood - but Weinstein's name keeps coming up. Kantor is able to track down some of his victims, but they are too afraid and ashamed to talk about what happened. With the help of her colleague Megan Twohey, who has reported on similar allegations against Donald Trump, Cantor is finally able to persuade the women to come forward, creating an abuse scandal that will soon rock Hollywood.
