Wenzel - Glaubt nie, was ich singe
Wenzel began his career in East Germany at the beginning of the 1980s and also found success in West Germany after the fall of the Berlin Wall. The film accompanies the singer at public appearances and concerts, but also shows him as a private person. Besides Wenzel himself, numerous of his friends and colleagues are interviewed, including Konstantin Wecker and Nora Guthrie, the daughter of the American singer-songwriter Woody Guthrie, whose unpublished texts Wenzel was once allowed to edit.
