Acht Geschwister

Documentary about eight siblings who undertake a joint journey to the place of their childhood: The two women and six men were born between 1933 and 1943 and grew up on a farm in Pomerania. At the end of World War II, the family had to flee, and the division of Germany that soon followed eventually separated them from each other. Still, they managed to stay in touch for the next 40 years. The film accompanies the eight siblings on a journey to Poland, to the small village where they once grew up. The journey brings back a lot of memories, and the men and women tell how their lives developed over the decades.
