All her life, Lydia has been working as a domestic helper in Berlin. Back at home in Poland she takes care of her elderly mother and sick brother. A lonely, deprived life lies behind her. The time of retirement is approaching, but all hopes of having a contemplative retired life in Poland will probably come to nothing. Ken Loach in documentary form.
