If society allows the unspeakable to be spoken again, the question arises, where resistance starts, and how it could look like. Inbetween the stench of dystopy and reality Naomi is trapped in her thought construct. Or isn't it about her at all?

"Axes of Good" presents the disorientation of both the viewers and the main characters in this play. When the language in it becomes an atmospheric maze, its relevance as something that can be understood literally disappears. The images as well as the sound dissolve in their own materiality. At its center is the question of when to put up resistance and whether this is possible against a totalitarian regime. The film is more of an interactive encounter than a solution. Its power to create meaning and also to question it stems from repetition. However, the cycles reveal themselves ring by ring.
