Moral
Adaptation of Ludwig Thoma's stage comedy of the same name. The morality club of a small village is afraid that a revue troupe of young women is a threat to the decency of the community - from the society's point of view, the inhabitants should be protected from the "immoral" dancers. However, the hypocrisy behind the morality club's statements is quickly exposed. When it is revealed that the head dancer, Ninon de Hauteville, has a close relationship with the hereditary prince as his piano teacher, the members of the morality club show up one by one for her lessons, and the "immorality" of the dancers seems to be forgotten. In order to document the double standards of the club members, Ninon begins secretly filming these encounters.
