Alma & Oskar

Vienna, 1912: Since the death of her husband Gustav Mahler, Alma Mahler has lived the life of a wealthy widow in the high society of Vienna. She is admired and adored, are not to the liking of the free-spirited woman. In the spring of 1912, she seduces the young painter Oskar Kokoschka, considered a great talent but also an enfant terrible of the art world. What begins as an adventure soon turns into a passionate affair. But while Oskar sees Alma as his muse, whom he jealously claims, Alma has her own artistic ambitions as a composer. This creates a tension between affection, dependence and power that threatens to tear the lovers apart.
