A young man and a girl, traveling together with a camper van through Southern Germany. Fighting, dressing up, dancing, laughing – he’s a seedsman, she’s his doll. While dining at a restaurant, the proprietor notices the strange couple and the rare language of the shy little girl: Ladin. Simultaneously in Rome. Police Commissioner Milia Demetz is investigating in cyberspace and is on the trail of a paedophile network. When she discovers a girl in one of the anonymous videos, she is suddenly certain: the lasciviously photographed child is Magdalena Senoner, the girl who disappeared at the age of 5 in South Tyrol. But who is behind the camera? All threads come together when the German proprietor forwards the pictures of his surveillance camera to the police. Can Milia catch up with the kidnapper and bring little Magdalena back home?
