The story of "Eden" is based around the refugee crisis in Europe. It begins with a small dinghy boat filled with refugees turning up on a tourist-populated beach in Greece. This incident triggers three parallel stories, highlighting the importance of Europe's role in the migrant crisis. It follows a Nigerian boy who escapes a refugee camp as well as the workers of the camp, a German family that take it upon themselves to take care of a refugee in Mannheim and a Syrian family in Paris looking to seek political asylum.
