Das unsichtbare Mädchen
Eleven years ago, an 8-year-old girl disappeared from a small town on the German-Czech boarder. Although her body was never found and there were also no traces of blood or DNA, a mentally disabled man was eventually accused of her murder. Even though the man withdrew his obviously rigged confession and claimed to be innocent, the judge sentenced him anyway. Altendorf, the police detective in charge, was taken off the case in order to finish the investigation.
Now, a new murder unites young police detective Tanner with Altendorf, who is retired but still haunted by the events. Gradually, the unlike men develop a mutual understanding. Tanner starts investigating the old case, and eventually discovers a new trail which leads him to the red-light district across the boarder and into grave danger.
