Documentary film about the richness of flora and fauna on German wild meadows. It shows the various bird species that cavort there, the various insects and other animals, from mice to deer, which create their habitat between the grasses and flowers. In fact, about one third of the native animal and plant species can be found on a wild meadow. The film provides detailed insights into this microcosm.
