Hum

The story of "Hum" begins in an abandoned house. Dead bees scatter every window ledge and lie, legs splayed, on the exposed floor. A mutilated piano waits upstairs in an empty afternoon. There is a strong sense of the past of the house, of its holding secrets, of its holding silences. A woman (Kerry Condon) climbs the wooden staircase, pausing to remove her shoes. She has come here in search of silence.
