Fuck Fame - Die Geschichte von Elektropop-Ikone Uffie

Documentary drama about the electropop icon Uffie. In 2006, the fashion student Anna becomes an Internet star practically overnight with her song "Pop the Glock". Through social media and hundreds of thousands of followers, Uffie (so her artist name) becomes an idolized electro rap queen. She is 19 years old and enjoys the fame, the luxury and the apparently unlimited freedom. But she soon gets to know the dark side of the merciless show business and the superficial fame. Anna falls into a heavy identity crisis, takes drugs, loses herself between party ecstasy and stage performances. Not even the birth of her child can keep her grounded. Only when she nearly falls victim to a deadly overdose, she seems to come to her senses eventually.
