Steve and Carola have been a happy couple for five years. But then Steve's best friend Bob is left by his girlfriend practically overnight, even though everything seemed to be going well with them - and suddenly Steve is not so sure about his own relationship anymore. Is Carola really happy with him? Is he doing enough for their happiness? Fearing that Carola could "replace" him, Steve begins to work on himself. He trains his body, strengthens his character and makes more of an effort in bed than before. Carola reacts with uncertainty to her friend's changes. What's the matter with Steve? After a consultation with her friend Anette, she decides to work on herself as well and to be a "better" girlfriend for Steve - with bizarre consequences.
