Das indische Grabmal, Teil 1 - Die Sendung des Yoghi
First part of "Das indische Grabmal". Second part: "Der Tiger von Eschnapur".
The architect Herbert Rowland receives a written request from the Maharajah of Eschnapur to build a tomb for his wife. He has to set off immediately. Therefore he leaves a letter for his bride Irene to inform her about everything.
For reasons unknown the letter is lost. Yet, with the help of their servant, Irene is able to follow Rowland. On her arrival in Eschnapur, the Maharajah bars her from meeting her fiancé. While visiting the construction site of the tomb Rowland learns that Savitri, the Maharajah's wife, is still alive and that she is in love with the English officer Mac Allan. For her betrayal the Maharajah wants to punish both of them with death. Mac Allan is taken prisoner to be thrown to the tigers.
