Die Partei

Documentary film about the political party named "PARTEI". Set up by the editorial office of the satirical magazine "Titanic" in 2004, the "PARTEI" staged a rally in Nuremberg and several populist campaigns in Thuringia and in Dresden and auctioned TV campaign commercials for the parliamentary elections for the Bundestag on eBay. A film team accompanied these and other campaigns – and thus delivers a chronic of this ludicrously subversive political protest.
