Die zwei Leben des Daniel Shore
The Two Lives of Daniel Shore
Returning to Germany after a trip to Morocco, 28-year-old German-American Daniel moves into the empty apartment of his deceased grandmother for a few days. His journey was meant to help him recover from private and professional failures, but during his stay, he witnessed a murder he couldn′t prevent and thus is plagued by feelings of guilt and haunting memories of the crime scene. Daniel makes the acquaintance of the other tenants and soon he starts to notice odd incidents. Young singer Elli seems to follow him, and bank clerk Feige irritates Daniel with his strange behaviour. More and more, past and present overlap in Daniel′s mind – until he can hardly discriminate between reality and fantasy.
