Wildes Herz
Documentary about Feine Sahne Fischfilet, an East-German punk rock band, and their vocalist Jan "Monchi" Gorkow. Founded in Mecklenburg-West Pomerania in 2007, the group has prominently rallied against racism, sexism and homophobia in songs, while at the same time urging people to stay in the region and trying to fight frustration and the feeling of hopelessness. This has resulted in the paradox that Feine Sahne Fischfilet is now one of the most successful German bands, yet at the same time the group has been targeted by the Office for the Protection of the Constitution for its anti-authoritarian stance and allegedly extreme left-wing and violent lyrics. Officials of the police force even called them "the most dangerous band in Mecklenburg-West Pomerania". Renowned actor Charly Hübner hails from Mecklenburg-West Pomerania and for this documentary, he has accompanied the band over the course of three years on and off stage, at concerts and during an election campaign.
