The Young Sinner

One day, in the midst of WWII, two girls are born in the same house yet to different parents: Carola, the daughter of the wealthy Ortmann family and Eva, whose father dies in the war. The two girls grow up together and become friends. As a teenager, the "young sinner" Eva is having affairs back to back but still does not seem to find Mr. Right – preferably a millionaire apt to satisfy her need for wealth. To make things worse, the relationship to her best friend becomes strained when Carola's boyfriend Robert falls in love with Eva. In the end, however, she finally finds the man she truly loves in Canada and it turns out that he happens to be a millionaire after all.
