Lisa Moell was born in 2005. At the age of nine, she auditioned for the film "Notes of Berlin" (2015-2017, director: Mariejosephin Schneider) and was cast in a small role. Aspiring director Joya Thome, who did casting for the film, recognized Moell's talent. The following year, Thome began production on her feature film debut "Königin von Niendorf" (2016) and cast Moell in the leading role of Lea, a lively 10-year-old girl who wants to join a boys gang in her rural hometown. The film screened at several festivals, and was released in Germany in February 2018.
