Screen adaption of a novel by Tino Hanekamp. New Year's Eve in Hamburg. For many years Oskar Wrobel has been running a club in an abandoned hospital on Hamburg's Reeperbahn. The club was hip and Oskars' life one big party. But this is supposed to end now: Oskar is in debt and the joint has to close down. As excitement for the new year is rising at the St.Pauli quarter, he is preparing for the big closing down party. How his life is to go on afterwards, he hasn't figured out yet. At the same time, events come thick and fast: a desperate former pimp appears at Oskar's doorstep, his best friend Rocky threatens to suffer from a fame-induced breakdown and cheerful Nina suddenly paints everything black. Chaos reigns at Oskar's club either way. The dead Elvis, as well as Hamburg's Senator of the Interior add to the difficulty of the situation. Not to mention the women in Oskar's life: Nina and Mathilda.
