The Invisibles

Berlin 1943. The Nazis have declared the city officially as "Jew-free", after murdering and deporting the Jewish population to death camps. Yet, in fact, 7000 Jews still live in Berlin. In various ways, they try to survive in hiding. Many go underground, while others assume false "Aryan" identities. Cioma forges passports to get by, Hanni has died her hair blonde and hopes to go unnoticed, Eugen has found refuge in a family's home and is part of the resistance, while Ruth pretends to be a mourning war widow and works as a maid – in the home of a Nazi officer.
